Richard Villasana, founder of Forever Homes for Foster Kids is a leading international authority on immigration issues and foster families.
Richard has been featured by CNN International, Univision, ABC, AP News, Costco Connections, the San Diego Business Journal, Foster Focus Magazine, and EFE, the world’s largest Spanish-language media company. He is a proud Navy veteran, national columnist, and international speaker who has also translated for the United Nations.
He was honored by Sen. Joel Anderson as a California Hero for his years of service helping foster children. For nearly 30 years, his non-profit has worked with government agencies across the country to find families for immigrant and foster children to create a permanent homes.
Richard has helped more than 10,133 families reunite with their relatives in the U.S., Mexico, and Latin America. He has spent 22 years living and working in Mexico.
