How Do We Minister To Teens Who Have Questions About Their Sexual Identity?

Subscriber-only episode

Send us a Text Message.

During adolescence, teens learn to relate to their peers as friends and potential romantic or sexual partners. This is a normal part of teen development. Sexual thoughts can be intense or confusing. For those working with youth in a religious setting, these can be awkward and difficult conversations.  Parents will often look to the church leadership (Pastor and Youth leaders) for guidance. No matter what your teen is struggling with identity wise it’s important to let your teen know you love them unconditionally.  This episode tackles this issue prayerfully and with great care for those seeking answers.  It is an open and frank conversation with two youth leaders who come at this issue from very different prospectives but both end up point youth the grace of God and the power of forgiveness in Jesus.  This is definitely a podcast you will want to share with your parents and even youth seeking answers.

My guests are former youth leader, Sean McAdams and current youth leader DCE Jeff Bellach.
